Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress best recognized for her role as the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. The actress was also praised for her TV debut as Eleni Andros Cooper on the soap opera of CBS Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are some of her most acclaimed films roles. According according to reports, she's working on a project with Vlas & Charley Parlapanides who co-wrote Immortals in the basis to Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. She's also filming a new series called Gods & Heroes.
