Felicity is an English actress who gained fame for portraying Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at her 12th birthday and has worked in multiple plays TV shows and films. Her first role was in The Treasure Seekers, a film on television. The following year, she appeared in The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow as well as Weirdsisters college. She played Young Ruth in her first film Flashbacks of a Fool and later on, she starred in a variety of films. Her acting made her famous in films such as The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. But it was her performance on The Theory of Everything' that won the actress the Oscar award for the first time. The biopic is based on the scientist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was highly praised by viewers and critics for her flawless performance as Hawking's wife.
